Made my first order from Kaidomain on 3/19.
Paid with PayPal.
When I check the status of the order it says âpending-packingâ.
My question is for those who use Kaidomain often. Is this typical? Itâs been over a week and it appears nothing has happened with the order.

I canât answer that I havenât ordered from them in a long time, but I suggest be proactive and message them directly to ask if itâs shipped, and for tracking if it has.

He seems to be somewhat active in that thread, (last seen 3/21) but someone else there might know about what youâre asking and reply.
Also, not sure if, or how fast he replyâs to PMâs here but you could try that too.

Havenât heard back. Iâll give it another day. If I donât hear back contacting BanL is a good idea.

Still working through a bad experience with KD for a C8.2 XHP50 version.
Paid for expedited shipping so I could have it for my trip last week
Created an order on Feb 22 (tail end of Spring Festival, holiday until 26th IIRC) for a KDLitker C8.2 with a XHP50.2 5000k, said in stock, ships in 1-3 days, I paid the $18 for express shipping too.
Heard nothing up until I emailed on 3/3 asking what my order status was to which they replied, this light is out of stock in 5K, if you want we can do 3k, 4k, or 6k. Now looking at the 5k product page, IT STILL SAYS IN STOCK. Either way, I sent back 4k is fine. They say it will ship in a few days, order marked shipped on 3/5, but no tracking number. I give it a few days.
Fast forward to 3/9, I emailed again saying I never got tracking despite being marked as shipped. They say, oh, we are waiting for 4k LED to be installed and tested and it will ship next week.
It finally shipped on the 17th, and I did get it in 3 days, however it was DOA. Driver is dead. So now here I am, over a month past my initial order, waiting for a replacement drop in to be shipped via snail mail.

You should be compensated in some way for that whole ordeal.

Im trying to be patient, but why would I pay $18 to get something quickly, then when they send a broken item, I get sent a replacement part through snail mail (It still hasnt shipped and they told me they would send it Thursday.)
At this point I just want a complete refund, minus their cost of the host since I can build something in it.
That is not right. They should have shipped the replacement quickly. They should have at least given store credit to make it right.

Since it wasnât in stock when you ordered they should definitely refund you the whole $18 expedited shipping charge if nothing else. Then if the new drop-in theyâre sending you fixes it, (aside from the aggravation) all youâve lost is time.
Although better resolution would be to send the new drop-in and refund you entirely, then at least youâd have a free light for your aggravation. I realize they canât just hand out 100% refunds to anyone who claims theyâre light doesnât work, but maybe in this case since youâre posting the whole ordeal here (on several different threads) and obviously being honest.
