So after nearly two months anticipation, I finally get my p60 reflectors in the mail. The springs and hardware were placed INSIDE the bowl of the reflectors and then placed in the small bags… This allowed the relectors to be scratched beyond use during shipment. Each part was strategically placed inside the reflector in the same order so its highly unlikely that they just shifted while in transit. Thanks fasttech. You are slipping.
I ordered their p60 a while back, it arrived safely only by miracle the loose spring in the plastic bag didn’t touch the reflector. Really poor packaging and they still haven’t corrected the way they package them.
Likewise the badly scratched reflector from FastTech.
I read some report that they had fixed the packing problem, so I added one to my cart. Most items arrived in good condition, but the springs were stuffed in the reflector. Several deep digonal scratches - I cannot count all the smaller scratches. Possibly, it’s not entirely useless - I may staple it to my belly button.
I didn’t bother to open a complaint, but I won’t buy another from them.
They said if I sent them picture proof of damage, they’d refund or resend. I placed another order with them for some other things and reordered the reflectors too. We shall see what happens in two more months.
wow… so who ever packaged them up to ship, had no common sense what-so-ever or understanding of the delicate surface and just threw all the parts in one bag.
Thumbs down for Fasttech.
They will loose a lot of business if they make to many bad deals or screw-ups like this to members here on BLF.
Order one reflector at a time with nothing else. Since the shipping is free, it really doesn’t cost you anything. I have made an order a minute after another order and they still ship separately.
Sucks, FT has our hopes high with their policies and stuff and most of the time the browsing experience seem to be just ideal , they are slipping that is for sure.
I got 4 p60’s last month, everything was well packed (Reflectors packed separately in a plastic baggie) so I think there are some good and sensible people that handle the packaging aswell.
I’d ordered one of the 110mm reflectors for the BLF Handmade comp, along with some P60 blanks for spares. I paid the extra fee for a protective box so the big reflector could survive the journey, & guess what?? - all of the P60 parts were stuffed inside the 110mm reflector….
Luckily, there wasn’t much damage aside from a couple of small dings. There was ample room in the box for the 3 P60 bags to be placed outside the big reflector. I guess I got lucky with this one.
