Lighthound use to carry rechargeable 14250 batteries but they have apparently been out-of-stock for awhile, so I’ve been looking for them, and just can’t seem to find them anywhere, either in the U.S. or overseas, where the cost per battery including shipping, would be reasonable. I’ve found some places on Alibaba that say that they have them, but shipping for small quantities of batteries are close to $100.
Does anyone know somewhere where I could buy a small quantity of these (maybe 10) with reasonable cost per battery to the U.S. including shipping?
I’m wondering if 2 x 15270 would fit into a 1 x 14500 light?
In my case, I think the extra length wouldn’t be a problem, but not sure about the extra 1mm diameter, so I’ve ordered a pair to try (actually from another vendor, on Ebay).
Maybe someone know where I can find 15270 (CR2) size battery like ohaya mentioned but 3.7v version? 4-5 year ago ebay was full of them but not anymore. Just 3v ones. I have just one battery left and it’s slowly dying.
Do you (or does anyone else) know if 2 of the 15270s would “normally” fit somewhere that “normally” used a 1xAA or 1x14500?
Some of the AA/14500 lights that I have have extra diameter space, but I have a hard time visualizing the “1 mm” difference (I have ordered a couple of the 15270s just to see for myself).
Thanks again! I have 3 of them ordered up. I’ve always wanted to make a Nano Mag mule and this ought to let me make one that is little more than a head with a nubbin at the tail.
