Recomended Battery for Ultrafire WF 501b Cree Xml T6 3 Mode

I recently ordered the Ultrafire WF 501b flashglight but have yet to order a 18650 battery for it. I was wondering what people would recommend for a battery type?

I know Ultrafire (and other “fire” brands) get a bad rap, but would these work out OK/be safe considering it is a single battery set-up?

Any help is appreciated! Thanks.

Those would probably work but I would recommend getting some name brand cells which will give you much longer run times. Those have a real capacity anywhere from 1 mah to 2400 mah, however with name brand cells you know exactly what you're getting.

Welcome to BLF! You'll love being here! :)

I would suggest buying either Sanyo or Panasonic cells with protection circuit. For example XTAR 2600 or 3100mAh 18700. They are a bit pricier, but much better and safer.

Welcome to BLF.

There are lots of better batteries out there in fact those are some of the worst 18650 batteries on the market so I would avoid them.

If you have your heart set on using Amazon a couple Tenergy 18650s and this Tenergy charger are fairly decent for the money.

Thanks all for the input on this. Think I will go for the Tenergys.
