Recommend a budget helmet-cam?

I've just purchased a new 250cc motor scooter for my work commute. I would like to get an inexpensive helmet cam so I can get some ride videos; anyone have any recommendations?

Internet Purchased YY250T, clone of a Honda design and motor.

250cc, $1600, Top Speed of 70+mph, advertised fuel economy of about ~70mpg.

The Emerson HD Action Cam seems a good candidate at just $50. http://compare.ebay.com/like/360693910503?var=lv&ltyp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar

Need more info. Do you ride in the rain?
How much runtime do you need? How
much is your maximum? Inexpensive may
mean $100 to you or $20 to me.

Closer to $100 and still should be good, the original Contour ROAM 1.

I'd like to keep it under $50 preferably. I don't need high definition or any super runtime. My typical drive would be around 30-minutes or so. I've looked at the MUVI and it seems like a decent option:

...or one of the budget-priced (frighteningly cheap) clones:

GoPro is the only way to go IMO. i race motocross and have one to capture when i ride. obviously it is super crash proof or else it wouldnt be any good! waterproof as well and you can get up to a 64gb sd card so plenty of space. it will cost you more but just with flashlights, the more it costs, typically, the higher quality and features. look on fleabay for a used one, they come up every now and then. look for a GoPro Hero or Hero 2 since those are the older ones

You can check at www.techmoan.com site.
He has several video reviews.

I have chosen Sony HDR-AS10 as an action cam.
Which is very good, has image stabilization, cheaper than gopro’s similar model.
Sony also has helmet mount, and other accessories.

Gear Patrol just did a Top 5 today. Sadly none can really be considered budget but they did like the Monoprice unit at $100

has reviews as well

I’m using an Innovv C3 as a permanent dashcam on my bike.
Works well.
