I am looking for a good universal tactical deployment style holster that will work with an 18650. I would like something along the lines of the brite-strike roto-loc articulating holster for the blue-dot lites. Does anyone know of a budget holster like this? I want something i can grab the handle and pull light out somewhat like a handgun holster. Is this made? Please let me know. Thanks in advance.
There is the Nitize expandable holster. I have one and love it.
The brite-strike roto-loc articulating holster is nice, quite universal but the flashlight is button down.
I doubt there is something like this with a budget price, too sophisticated / elaborated (I don’t know the appropriate word) to be budget.
The only other rotating holster I know, that is not really budget (but not so expensive) and not universal but with flashlight head down (button up) for a fast deployment is:

Probably awesome for 6P format like solarforce L2P and a bit more universal by removing the bottom rubber (untested).

i use the same nite ize holster, i love it and very durable. hands free also, because since the holster can rotate, you can point your light forward, up, down.
Just ordered the nite ize holster on amazon. Paid 8 something shipped to door. Will see how it is. Going to look into the other listed holster also. Any pictures of your lights in the night ize holster?
Here my solarforce l2 is with a 18650 extender and a lock out tailcap.
This is a good one…. They also have a smaller made by Ultrafire for AA and 18650 lights …. I bought 2 from HKE on eBay ….

The light I have is one I got at a flea market. It’s made by some Chinese company and labeled bw8202 and box states clairvoyance. It’s a 3cree led and runs on an 18650 battery. Has 3 modes hi/lo/strobe, and a dial to go from thrower to flood. It has claims to be 500lumen but all I have is a 140 lumen rayovac indestructible to compare it with so I’m not sure. But I will say it is a heck of a lot brighter than the indestructible and the strobe is stunning blinding. I am new to the whole led flash light thing as all I had before is my 2 c mag with led conversion which I still love to this day. A google search of bw 8202 will show an image. It’s my first light that is 18650 and there will be many to follow. But I’m happy so far with this light. Just need to learn more about batteries and led technology. Any recommendations on powerful throwers for under 20? If there are any on that range? Not that money is an issue just wanna see what distance can be reached in that price range.
Jacob A60 for 14 dollars. I have heard great things about it.

That is somewhat close to what I have actually. Not exact but close. Check out the link I posted and you can see what I have. I’m gonna have a look at the a60 now.
The body is similar but the A60 is a reflector while the SWAT is aspheric. That light will definitely work with this holster, I have one light of similar size that I will go take a picture of in the holster.

Seems to be about right. My concern was that my light wouldn’t fit with the tailcap being the way it is. But seeing that made me refigure
My notion. Have you ever seen my light before? I have been lurking here before I got this and when I saw it at the flea market at that price I figured what the heck. There were a few others which I think I will pick up one a weekend as they are between 8 and 20 dollars. All are tactical style with combat style lens caps.
I haven't seen it before but that isn't that surprising as there are thousands and thousands off different types of lights.

Manafont have both the small & large ones. I thought I ordered the small one, but just measuring it up, maybe not.
One slight drawback I find is that it sticks out quite a bit because of the clip, but it’s a well made product.
Got the holster in mail yesterday. I like it a lot. Light fits well. Very snug but easily removed quickly if need be. Also holds my mag and I’m sure will hold many future lights. I am going to the local flea market tommorow to let the wife pick around so I will visit the flashlight guy again. They had a few other lights I liked around 10 bucks. I will let you guys know what I come home with. Thanks again for the help choosing a holster.
