The batteries in my dad’s 12-year-old Panasonic ER389 have finally bitten the dust. It’s a great shaver, and it would be a shame to throw it out.
It currently takes 2x 2500 mAh AA NiCD batteries with solder tabs. I’d like to replace the NiCD’s with NiMH batteries, and am wondering what the best option is for this. Recommendations for brands/sellers would be greatly appreciated, only requirement is that they ship to Canada. I already own around 40 AA Eneloops, however they’re only 2000 mAh and don’t have tabs. If I were to use the Eneloops, is there a risk of overcharging and damaging them? Also, would it be easy to attach tabs to them? Thanks
Or you could chuck it and buy this: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Wahl-Mustache-Beard-Trimmer/10884356
Note that 91% of the reviewers recommend this trimmer. Don’t be put off the chase by the low price. As we know from buying batteries and chargers, they are not cheap. If you remove the batteries and charger from a retail trimmer, you now have closer to the true value of the part that does the cutting. N’est-ce pas?
And not to mention the fact that you can swap out Eneloops until the bovines come home.
