I got this driver for XHP50 (forgot the current, probably 3A 6V)
I want to pair it with XHP70.
I know I need to increase the resistance of indicated resistor. How much would you add to get 5-5,5A?
Is the driver even made to sustain so much current? That’s almost twice what it was designed for.

It looks like the current 3A and 5A 6V 22mm drivers from Convoy are identical PCBs and components, so chances are good the same applied to your generation.

What diameter is yours? 22 as well, just older model? Or 20?

3×20/5=12mR
3×20/5.5 = 10.9mR.
Note that like the 5A6V convoy driver it’ll barely do that even with a full cell due to the inductor current limit of the TPS61088.
