Traktuned, I got my beads on Ebay but they seem to be harder to find now (and more expensive!).
I noticed the spring in the head has started to bend. It still works fine but could cause stress to the solder joint:
The head can also be removed from the middle section.
we had several of these in white.
they came with a belt clip and a bike mount.they were office depot closeouts at 1.99
unfortunately the leds went bad in all of them.running 18500 in them finished them.
i destroyed them trying to take them apart.the bezel must have been glued.
but they did survive several bike wrecks and getting knocked off at speed.
was going to add a resistor in place of the center led.
