Review: Acebeam E75 (Nichia 519A 5000k 90CRI)

For a while, I have been hoping that Acebeam would bring an “E70 on steroids” to the market . Acebeam have done this in style, with the new E75, a quad LED, 21700 battery flashlight, available in both max 4,500 lumen 65000k 70CRI, or max 3,000 lumen 5000k 90CRI versions. This review is of the Nichia 519A 5000k 90CRI version.

Been thinking of buying one of these but no direct access to turbo from off has me rethinking it.

Its a double click from off to go into turbo. I own the nichia version.

2 clicks from off or on for Turbo

I have this on my desk and pending testing, so far its really nice and what i expect from Acebeam. For about $100 its a great light. I think I might prefer a single xhp70.3 HI thought even if its not high cri.

I mentioned that in the UI section , but it does not directly turn on to Turbo, it briefly passes through the last memorised mode. This means that turbo can’t be used for creating light painting light trails.

Thanks for the info. I guess it’s back on my short list.

It is one of the most impressive lights I’ve reviewed this year. Sustained brightness per size is epic. I might re-word to no “single click access to turbo from off” to avoid confusion.
