Interesting, great video. Very straightforward without unnecessary fluff.
I have been burned by Acebeams possibly one too many times, but this and their K1 14500 light are ones I almost want to buy.
No memory mode
Is a great thing for me, almost a requisite except for Anduril lights.
The beam profile looks about as good as a floody flat style light can get.
I like that they are using a USB-C battery instead of integrated charging. Dual-fuel is nice.
The only thing I feel is bad is the clip, mostly since it doesn’t go to the end of the light, and the screws holding it on should absolutely be countersunk. If I ever had this light, I feel I would just remove the clip altogether and drop it in the pocket, even though I don’t carry lights in that manner.
I would also want to swap the emitter(s) but that’s not as much as an issue as the clip is in my opinion.
Thanks for the comment. Yup, agree on the clip although it can be hard to make it deeper carry in this size/style.
I just wish the side light was a little brighter and there was some kind of power level indication. It would be great if they offered a package with a second battery so you can always have a 10440 spare.
