Review: Fitorch P50 10K lumen, RGB, warm white mode, soda can style

My take on the Fitorch P50 from a practical view:

  • superb main LEDs, good color rendition and neutral white. They did not chase lumen sacrificing light quality! Great light distribution, true allrounder
  • warm white mode that allows for charging while the light is on - super long runtimes from powerbanks
  • a tripod connector opening up a universe of options (I show a cool one in the video)
  • good handling and proportions, I do not despise it like most can style lights
  • build quality on a very high level
  • I can tolerate the UI
  • all those cool RGB modes

You sure about this?
I reviewed the Litesam PS50, which is exactly like the Fitorch P50 (just rebranded). I got only 68 CRI with duv 0.0041 which is slightly greenish. The low color rendition is clearly visible, especially when directly compared with high CRI LEDs in same CCT. The greenish tint is also somewhat visible. The main LEDs have neither a neutral white light color nor good color rendering. These are just standard low-CRI cool white LEDs with very high output power:

The warm white SMD LEDs have good color rendition tho.

This is what I can confirm. Really nice light, is in use sometimes.

I did expect the main LEDs to give poor light quality which was OK because I always counted on the warm LEDs for anything else. However, comparing it against a Wurkkos TS23 tactical style light we found the main light of the P50 much, much warmer and in fact really pleasant. The fine details on the wall came out natural. Even right now shining it on my orange cat I find the result very good. Not washed out or distorted, just like in daylight basically.

Then just compare with high CRI light (519A, LH351D) in 5700 K. There is a huge difference.

Edit:

I don’t have an orange cat, but other reddish-orange-brown surfaces:

Very huge difference in my opinion. Not only are the Fitorch LEDs extremely green (in comparison), but they lack also colors and saturation.

Holding it against my Acebeam E70 mini I can 100% confirm your observations. However, still a decent light quality compared to my other lights that just hunt for max lumens.
