Just read this. I have used the battery turn quite a bit for lockout while the light was on. Haven’t had an issue. Maybe I better quit that. The light was just sent to me a week ago by Imalent though.
If you’re talking about the DX80 I think this might be an interesting video. A member’s light went poof with smoke when he (probably) tightened the battery tube after loosening it with the light on. If you could demonstrate that it certainly is not a problem and the light keeps on working normally, it would be informative for people and good for Imalent as well.
Yes it was the DX80. I actually switched it from being on to off with the turn of the battery in my latest video while on 120 lumens. I bet I’ve turned it 30 times likes this in a week vs holding the switch for a second. It’s still ending the Darkness like it should
