My review of the OLIGHT Baton Turbo - serious throw in a tiny flashlight!
…is there enough spill though?
Seems to be too difficult for Olight to specify the LED type in the spec sheet.
It’s a Luminus SFT-25R with cool white 6500 K and 70 CRI. According to Zeroair, the tint is very green (duv 0.0095) , at least so green that it is way outside the ANSI range at the lower light levels. Due to the pressed bezel, replacing the emitter is at least very challenging. For those who prefer a normal white at all light levels, this lamp is nothing, even the Throw is of little help with its compact size. Something like the Wuben E6 is pretty good for me - clear white without much tintshift (Osram CSLPM1.TG), very compact, with range. It could have been taken up and significantly improved…
It looks like the outside of the bezel is accessible, so removing it shouldn’t be difficult at all. Here is info on removing the bezel from a similarly designed light.
To my eyes the tint was pure white on mine with no discernible shift.
