The big question, is will you be using the front or rear switch?

What a cool flashlight !!! Why ? It has two Switches -Tailclicky and Sideswitch with full UI, a magnetic Tail, a Tailcharger and usable while charging , a 21700 Battery. It has a edc size and looks good . A must have for every flashi… !!!
Thank you for your review. There are some very nice features on the Javalot for sure. And it’s a very nice looking light. But in place of the TS11, which really can’t compare to the Javelot, I think a more appropriate comparison would be with the Convoy C8+. I have the W5050SQ3 emitter in a C8+, which also has a round die similar to the Javelot. But its throw is 866m, more than 100m further than the Javelot. Size is similar to the Javelot, but the Javelot does have a larger, higher capacity battery (21700 vs 18650). I’m not sure how the spill compares between the two. Here are a couple of beam shots I took for reference.
Again, Thanks for your review. I’ve seen a number of your reviews and enjoy them very much.
You mention that Olight comes with a protected 21700 battery (you state: Regular 21700 do not work).
Does that mean the light does not work with flattop 21700 batteries, or do we have to use a proprietary battery?
It uses a proprietary battery, as do most OLight lights.
Yup. Main issue of most olights…
Just gave away a Baton II because the battery decided not to take much charge from the magnetic blue thing and I couldn’t put it onto the Xtar charger to see what it was doing. I hate Olight for not standardizing their products.
That said, they do make effective and cool looking lights.
Imagine the world where all brands have proprietary batteries, like Olight and and Nitecore do.
I’d have to be really dumb or inexperienced, to spend 20-30eur on replacement battery that can be used only for one flashlight brand.
Ironically, Olight Baton III was my first flashlight and also the only one
