Are you able to use primary’s in this light like a Duracell?

good question. i only use Eneloop in my gungray and protected 10440's in my black. primaries can leak and explode. i dont want that in my house.
Primary’s do put out the same volts as eneloops correct? Do you notice a big difference with primary/eneloops and 10440
i've tried Alkalines .. and there is a BIG difference. Alkalines in E09 produce less bright light .. after 3mins on High-mode you can tell the difference, the light begins to dim. On Eneloop the light stays bright.
10440 is much brighter. and i win.
My concern using 10440 is how to tell when you should recharge the battery. My impression, in my ignorance, is that if you let it run down too low it will ruin the battery or might explode. It would be especially bad with unprotected batteries.
Please educate me on this.

Received the black one from Fasttech today, and I don’t know what to think.
On one side there is the Tank007 logo as seen in the picture in kreislers post, on the other side it says “Hytera”, the same logo you can see on this site
seems like something got mixed up there…

Does it even have Hytera’s little wings logo?
Perhaps Hytera ordered some customized lights with their logo as giveaways & somehow one got mixed into a shipment to fasttech.
Everything else seems normal about this E09?
