My review of the wonderful Sofirn SP10 V3 mini EDC AA flashlight kit, (a great gift idea) 1000 lumens - 90CRI LED - gorgeous beam
How does everyone else feel about only being able to turn the flashlight off from Turbo if you access Turbo from off? It keeps throwing me.

Have you seen this thread about some anomalous cell drainage?
Just got the Sofirn Sp10v3 yesterday, took it out for a walk had it on maybe 10-15 mins. With both the Sofirn 14500 battery and an alkaline AA when i walked back home i had the 14500 in it, i used it on the walk back home mainly on high mode and sometimes on turbo so it got a bit warm, but not too much. So when i arrived home the sp10v3 was warm i just thought thats normal my other lights also get warm and put it on the cupboard. the light was off of course… then i ate something, 45minutes later…
Yeah. Mines been ok thus far but Sofirn did tell me the IF22 had issues.
I’ll fully charge it now and see what it reads in the morning.

Neither of my two Sofirn SP10V3 lights exhibit that particular behavior when Turbo is accessed from OFF. While in Turbo, holding down the switch cycles through the normal brightness levels whether I entered Turbo while the light was ON or OFF and when I release the switch it selects the brightness level currently displayed. If I click the switch while in Turbo (instead of holding down the switch) the light returns to the previous state it was in before entering Turbo.
So far both of my Sofirn SP10V3 lights recently purchased work very well with either NiMH or Li-ion batteries.
I have also recently purchased two Sofirn IF22A lights (which to my understanding are identical to the IF22 except the IF22A uses a TIR instead of a reflector) and they both also work very well so far.
It would be very discouraging to me if Sofirn was selling lights with known adverse issues.
