Hi there BLF!
Below I am posting my video review of the Brinyte ZT40 flashlight, along with some other photos!
It is Brinyte’s most recent zoomable flashlight!
It was sent for review, without any compensation other than keeping the flashlight for myself.
It can be found in Brinyte’s store (non-affiliate): 2025 New Brinyte ZT40 Multi-color Zoomable Rechargeable Multifunctiona .
I received the White LED version (SFT25-R), that produces a nice round beam when zoomed in. Other versions are green, red, UV and IR.
The ZT40 takes a 21700 battery, has UBC-C charging and is capable of 1600 Lumens on High mode and 500 lumens on Low Mode (white LED). It has mode memory and only 2 modes. When turning it off, memory mode acts if you wait around 4 to 5 seconds, otherwise, a fast click will lit the flashlight in the other mode it has, either low or high.
The zooming goes from 6º (zoomed in) to 70º (zoomed out). It is a twisty zoom, not push-pull, but it can be done with just one hand, as I show in the video
In terms of distance reached, it goes above 400m on High, stated and tested. I will also post the beamshost video later, and you can check it!
Well-built, good knurling, excellent anodizing as other Brinyte’s flashlights.
As for the accessories, it inside a hard case, and comes with USB-C charging cable, lanyard, spare o-rings and user Manual. A remote switch can also be bought separately as well as a tactical ring.
This is, in my opinion, a great flashlight that is simple enough to be used in a vast range of usage (hunt, searching, around the house…). The only thing I would change is the zooming function, making it push pull instead of twisty.
If you have any comments or questions, let me know!
And now the video:
Thanks for watching !
