[Review] WUBEN T4 - does it live up to the extreme hype?

My review of the extremely hyped WUBEN T4 & attack grip

There’s been a lot of anticipation regarding this light, so does it deliver?

2 Thanks

Nice review. You’ve convinced me. I’m not going to press “buy”.

Makes you wonder how many preordered or will watch a “friendly review” before buying

From the specs and the beam and emitter, it’s a larger Wuben E6 with USB-C rechargeability, tail switch, and better ability to smash things and people. Used as a flashlight, it’s practically the same, just bigger with ~20% more mAhs.

The E6 gets Strobe quickly with a double-click, so the T4’s Tac mode doesn’t really get you much over what you get with the E6, especially considering that the E6 is quicker to Strobe if your T4 is in normal mode.

It’s nice to see you, jj2me!

Thanks for the review, I was out from the start. Anyone that offers a tactical ring for a non-refundable dollar before releasing the rest of the light gets a wide berth. And the E1 thing that fixes on the back of the phone is getting irritating. Apparently my life “is incomplete without out it”. What sort of advertising is that? Buying one would prove my life was incomplete

Both will sell well I think, it’s all getting a bit Olight.

Haha, Astro Skibidi to the rescue…

Somehow, “18350” and “tactical” don’t seem to go together.

HML vs LMH would be a partial dealbreaker. Poorly implemented UI (as usual) would cinch it.

The flash is the light thinking it’s being hit with momentary-high until it clicks through then goes into low or medium. Really need dual tailswitches to do that correctly, like the ED20-T or TM-03.

I think an 18350-sized NEXTORCH TA30C with a FR-1 tactical ring would work. As long as it’s long enough to comfortably hold while hitting something. The levels should be adjusted to improve the runtime.

I wonder what’s happening with the alleged patent infringement of the tactical ring. Is that why it’s being offered for $1?
