(Review) Wurkkos FC13 SFN43, 3400 Lumens, Anduril V2 (Discontinued...)

Reviewed the FC13 with SFN43. Shared my runtime graphs on reddit which got Wurkkos’ attention and they discontinued it. The SFN43 runs far too hot in such a small host, at the default settings it dipped as low as 127 lumens with an ambient temp of 21°C.

This shows that Wurkkos does little to no testing themselves, this is just lazy by getting the buyers of the first batch to be classed at the “testers”.

Included battery measured just 1980 at turn on. If you advertise 3400 lumens, include a battery that can at least get 3000.

Using a Samsung 30Q I got 3095 at turn on and 1125 ANSI. Installed a 2nd tail spring and measured 3580.

I do like the design, nice large switch with RGB, and also the few seconds of turbo with a 2nd spring, but that’s all.

I know its an older post at this point, but since nobody chimed in at the time to say it, I wanted to point out that they don’t claim 3500Lm for any LED but the XHP50; both the others (sfn and sft) they advertise 2000lm. You get more throw with one, more lumens with the other, and someone who was either not that bright or trying to get some cheap points at the expense of sincerity listed the specs for the light with the throw for the SFT and the lumens for the XHP, so what it says on the box and some websites is never correct.
