Our Inspiration for getting away from the old designs, coupled with the desire to put a higher output in a compact body and not wanting to compromise on runtime, have let to this beautiful creation. Flashlights are almost exclusively cylindrical and always have been except tons of block shaped ones with a handle on the top. I have it and I think it's great: bright, stand on any side, simple UI, good looking, CW/NW options. Not so great: have to unscrew back plate in order to get to the battery, micro USB charging, clip no so easy to install/remove. It's the better version of the Nebo light.
I have both lights mentioned and I can say I am a fan of both!
The rectangular shape of the E300s is indeed different and fits well in the pocket, despite being big! I modded mine and put some XPL-HD Leds to avoid the XP-G3 bad tint. However, I believe the Nichia version will suit those who like better tints.
As for the A5, use it daily in my keychain and has worked well since I received it
BTW, unless you have a battery issue, you don’t need to unscrew the back. Actually, I would advise not to do so, as the sealing rubber may get damaged when putting it back on place.
$40 light $18 shipping to me. I did nothing special to get the price. The shipping cost may vary depending on location. Is this where the difference is?
