Sanrenmu Ming Ren 910 plus

Anyone have this knife? Can’t find much online.

Don’t care if its a ’benza clone as I cannot afford the real deal. Even if it is not authentic SRM it’s a damn good looking knife.

Really thinking about trying [an orange] one. If it was $10 cheaper I would have already.

Hmm, I was hoping you’d already bought one and was going to tell us about it.

Way I see it, assuming it is an authentic Sanrenmu, this is Sanrenmu’s initial attempt to break out of the “cheap small knives” market. We’ve speculated about whether people would accept a Chinese manufacturer selling midrange knives, and this is how we’ll find out.

Sandvik steel requires a bit more investment on their part than the normal 8Cr13MoV, and that’s reflected in the price.

When I’m feeling a bit more flush I’ll probably buy an orange one. I really like orange knives.

the 9 series was discontinued a while ago due to blade length and are now very hard to find.

edit: as far as real sanrenmus go that it. as far as copies of the copy, not sure.

I’m glad I qualified my statement with indicating it was based on an assumption.

If you want a good Sandvik knife, buy an Opinel Inox.

I didn't know the Opinel Inox used sandvik steel. But I agree they are very good blades for the money. Salami slices itself out of fear when you take out the knife

And customising the wood handle can be a lot of fun.

Not gonna lie… Sandvik didn’t factor into my desire at all. Mostly because I don’t believe for a second that is what it really is! Just like the look of it. (As long as its not a total piece of crap.)

Have a sandvik Kershaw Skyline. It’s my favorite folder.

Ming Ren, Sanrenmu… don’t give a shit. They’re both foreign and often mispronounced.

Well……. :~ Glad I was able to watch this.

That Ming Ren is so not worth the money. Maybe not worth $10!
I do love my EL-02 as much as Joben.

And I wanted it bad to ! Now I want one of those fake Striders on Alliexpress!

they dont even dance around it, just blatant bootleg haha
does look pretty decent though. have you found any reviews?

Just the ones on Alli . I am going to gamble some day.

OK. Looks there’s a few on there for 16.99 and up. No way of knowing consistency…

That is a less painful gamble than $35 for the MingRen 910.

One has 30 reviews!

How many are legit? I have to wonder

I am thinking that the real striders are made in USA, but I cannot find that written anywhere?Humm . just that they are an american owned company.

Here:

This is my modified Opinel No. 10 :)

No no no…. I meant legit reviews haha

Real stryders are definitely made in USA. They were mil issue for a time.
