The last few days i’ve noticed its not there, is it just me?
Google search is there for me.
I had to whitelist google search API in ghostery.
I have not installed anything new, but i can try disabling the addons i have and see what happens
Do you use any ad or script blockers?
Most blockers update their filters regularly. An update could have removed the search box.
You're searching for the search function? Google "BLF search function", Google knows where everything is.

i went through all my plugins, some i don’t use and got rid of, one called google sharing took out the search bar, also my java is out of date which i would not have known otherwise but updating it didn’t help so who knows
