Following up on my IF25A review, this is an all-together different light. Featuring the throw-designed XHP50.3 HI emitter in a larger build, coupled with a dual-interface and forward clicky, the C8L makes a great “tactical” light. It shows great efficiency overall, with an unusual thermal-mediated ramp-down (and ramp back up) on Turbo/Max.
