They are selling New Zealand fresh air in a can and business is good.
This is interesting and not unlike when people first began selling bottled water.
Anyway, my best wishes for our China friends who are having to cope with the bad air in Beijing and elsewhere made worse now because of the fireworks.
Currently in Beijing the PM 2.5 reading is a whopping 785.

Well they do something like that for decades in Japan…now when China is the new world factory they will start to import fresh air too :person_facepalming:
Shenzen makes 92% or world elecrronics, 92%! We canrt expect nothing less that apoluted air and nature …yet, its the only way that those 1.5 bill people have somekind of a normal standart
Just imagine this: before 25 years the usualy Shenzhen salary was like 13-14$ monthly…now its 30$ daily( at least Foxconn pays something like this)
menthoning Foxconn, its factory has 250k employess in the city, a number too “terrible” to imagine for most of us
Instead of oil pipelines we should set up air pipelines and make more money!

Spaceballs and “Perri-air” was the first thing I thought of and I laughed… Then I thought about my friend Simon who makes some of the lights we love so much, living right there in the middle of all that toxic crap with his wife and children.
I’m not laughing now…I feel a little sick actually. 
Sometimes I just don’t understand how some things are tolerated. I am not truly educated enough to speak confidently on the facts of what goes on in other parts of the world but I know more than enough to be disturbed and disgusted by what I do know and be extremely thankful that my family does not have to suffer under such conditions. I’m going to close this night praying for my friend and his family and others in that situation. That is just sick. I don’t wish to start any talk on the policies of different governments and such as our most excellent moderator asks us not to and I have a huge respect for the way this forum is managed. I would respectfully ask that anyone else thinking on this put a little thought into what you say. Just take a step back for a moment and put prayer or whatever positive thing you have in your life towards hoping for a better future for people living under terrible circumstances like this. I don’t normally involve myself in such topics but this one hit too close to home for me. I’m done now…

I would argue that things are “tolerated” due to their not being discussed or allowed to in the first place whether they be on the internet or at ground zero.
Today’s generations ‘worldwide’ are going to have to figure out whether the price of standing up for anything (including the air that they breathe) has any relation to how other people live in this world for doing just that at untold mass sacrificial expense for the next.
Even dirty air isn’t free (and never has been).
And Freedom ought to know.

I think every one in every country is effected my environmental pollution in some way. Even here in a Country with so much free space we still get pollution problems. I think now it will be even worse with then addition of radio and microwave pollution. Now we have enemies we can not smell or see in all form of radiation!
