Set of 2 Maglite 2D Xenon flashlights – New in packages with batteries.

Set of 1 Blue and 1 Black or 1 Silver and 1 Black as shown in photos, your choice. These are great for modding. All come with Duracell batteries. These have the newer bi-pin Xenon bulbs with a spare in the tail cap. $45 for each set of 2 light including USPS Priority Mail shipping anywhere in the USA, paypal accepted.

I'm not seeing any D-cell incandescent Maglites on their website anymore. Not since they updated their website.

Mag D’s need a 51mm reflector.
I think the guts from a Q8 may fit though.
You can buy the reflector and LED board separately.

I have no idea what differences in the switch, etc., might be (eg, less current for the LED versions, so cheaper switch?), but I think those are LED versions only. I was curious and the only hotwire versions I saw were for Kr bulbs.

I’ve been tempted to mod a Mag, but there seems to be too much chopping needed, and most of my tools are packed away, so…

Yeh, that’s what I meant. No need to trash a C8F host if you can just get the board and reflector separately.

Yes, I’m in the USA, unfortunately shipping heavy items like these outside of the US is very expensive.

$27.50 for one light on amazon vs $45 for 2 lights ($22.50 each) - I thought saving $5 on one light and $10 on 2 was a fair, especially since I am including free Priority Mail shipping.

My local hardware store has a very pretty silver 3D krypton bulb Mag gathering dust in the display cabinet.
They want €41 ($45.61) for it though… :confounded:
