Yep the round ones, were referred to as the Yinding projector LED on this site. However, I think Yinding is just the reseller, and we don’t who the actual manufacturer is.
People have found it to produce an excellent beam shape - tint is hit or miss though. Overall, it is similar to a Luminus SFT40 or San’an SFS80 in terms of lumens and intensity.
Yeah…i managed to find the Yinding reseller site tho. Osram, Luminous, Seoul brands etc as well as chinese 国产/domestic leds.
So maybe the LED (s) really are G50, G90, as mentioned above. Yinding 5050 is like, BLF-speak. lol
Though i still can’t find the G50 and G90 LEDs in there.

Recently some new LEDs showed up so I thought I would replace my old WildTrail D80 v2 with something new.
Here’s some background to understand my intentions: my typical setup is a headlamp (currently FireFlies PL47) + a thrower. I use flashlights daily when walking the dog and this is 95% of my flashlights usage. This setup is most convenient for me because I have free hand while walking, but when something catches my attention (e.g. shiny eyes looking out of the darkness) I get the thrower and…
