I want to thank this forum for many generous people. Here is a light that showed up at my house. 
Its an SG-C8 UltraFire
So this was a typical C8 that came in a care package of wonderful things - more on that later.
This one had a bezel that would come loose and off with a little bump of any kind. It also had a hollow pill.
To fix the pill I used a brass allen head water pipe plug 3/8” I used a belt sander to and an allen wrench as a holder to turn it down until it was a tight press fit into the pill.
Then using some arctic alumina I glued the xr-e q5 back down to the newly fixed pill.

Then we (kids and I) rewired the driver back in place. THe mlight needed something extra so we removed some anno for a new look. There was not much of a way to ge the bezel to hold everything in so we ended up using a little bit of superglue and some rubber bands to clamp it as it dried. Stays great and with a little heat could be removed in the future.

The kids love the light. It has some pwm but they don’t care about that. Its an awesome light saber to them. Now we are gonna do another one.

we did a second pill and it came out better but forgot to take pics of that one. There is a small gap on the edge you can see n this one. It was just the edge though and I filled it with arctic alumina when fitting the xr-e
