Shadow VG-10 XM-L
215MM*46MM*25MM
Looks like P60 drop-in type or similar.
Expensive at £39
You scared me at first, then I looked, it is $39.
215mm is rather long for a single 18650.
According to the spec it's the same size as the Shadow TC6?
To me it look like a P60 drop-in type or similar
Something is not right, this flashlight looks short for a 215mm and 45mm head, maybe it has a bigger head or shorter body. Most probably a shorter body.
Does anyone know the official website of the Shadow company?
Can anyone read that website printed on the body?
I've searched and searched and searched for a manufacturer or representative of Shadow and have had no success to date. I really like what they put out so I'm always watching for something new. It looks like it reads www.a-mu.co. What the heck is that?!
Wow, nice looking light. But yeah, something wrong with these specs :|
That would put it only 15mm longer than the Trustfire X9 so it's not unreasonable.
I have an image zoom plugin in my browser and from what I can see the address is “www.a-mu.co”. This unfortunately brings up nothing and I tried every combination I could think of that looked reasonably close to the pixelated address. Nothing works. Anyone else have ideas on what the site address is?
Ok than the head is way larger than 45mm . Which is not possible.
VG-10 like the steel?
It's definitely A-MU

There is something not right there. If the head is 46mm then the battery tube is far too thick for an 18650. Indeed an 18650 would be able to waltz inside it.......lol
This one seriously looks pretty good!
The styling reminds me of good elements from some pretty good looking torches, such as the heatsink of the nitecore extreme/IFE series, body tube that somewhat reminds me of some of the sunwayman lights. Not too keen on the bit behind the heatsink, but overall, its got a nice clean design. I think the measuremens are crazy, the only reasonable one is the tail diameter of 25mm.
The head at 45mm is very big, and the length sounds like a 2x18650. Maybe its measurements (and stats) from another torch?
But darn! I've been anxiously waiting for the new Shadow lights but so far the 2 new models they've come out with (one being a bike light) are opposite of what I've been hoping for. I was half expecting a more compact, tactical style 18650. Something similar to the Mini but a tad bigger and more "tactical." This seems more like an 18650 version of their W-26. Well... I suppose I'll just have to suck it up and get the Mini and settle with that for now.
Still, this is a handsome light. They've yet to disappoint in the design department, as well as the quality.
Nailed it. Hiding in the Shadow :
Good job, Hikelite ;) So yeah, P60 host, I'd say it has SF L2 size. Don't know if it worth that money, but looks nice, at least to me.
Hmmm.. that now makes it a lot more inviting! However, you gotta figure it's not gonna be driven hard based on reviews of the TC6. Actually, I'm curious how this stacks up against the Balder BD-2. To me these two lights seem like twins (not literally as in physical appearance). Based on reviews and all the photo's I would put both of these manufacturers in the same league.
I'd be all over this if I planned on replacing the driver but I'd rather not spend this much on this type of light if that's the intention. We'll see.. it's very tempting. The heatsinking looks good for this size of host.
EDIT: Seems it's 7135*6, which is probable with Shadow and similar lights. I just don't use high mode for long enough periods of time and could easily handle 7135*8 and maybe even throw on a couple more! :D
And to better put things in perspective: Shadow Mini T6 (135mm x 27mm) vs Shadow VG-10
Anyone bought this light? Looking forward to a review. :)
Review like worth photos.
