Should I buy a BT-C2000, VC2 Plus Master and EBL 920D or hold out for SkyRC MC3000?

Hi BLF, long time listener first time caller

My BC-700 is on the fritz, some of the buttons aren’t working, yes I googled and cleaned and reset and…… ANYWAY it’s time for an upgrade

I need something that will do everything, and a lot of everythings. I want something for the li-ion cree flashlight. I want something to charge batteries in game controllers. I want something to charge all the kid’s toys. I want a charger that will do it all.

That charger doesn’t exist, so I’m thinking three chargers might solve it

Opus BT - C3100

because it does all the readings I could want and chargers Li-Ion. 2000mA charging is possible. If it charged 12 batteries at once and had a bluetooth app it would be all I need.

EBL 920D LCD Quick Charger with Discharge Function for AA AAA Ni-MH Ni-CD Rechargeable Batteries - Black

It’s $8. Charges four batteries, has a LCD for each battery, has a discharge feature and it’s $8. eight. dollars.

Xtar VC2 Plus MASTER USB Charger / Power Bank for Li-ion/Ni-MH/Ni-CD Batteries with LightJunction USB Wall Plug and Car Adapter

This charges everything. Every battery size and battery chemistry that I know of. And I like the countdown feature. And it’s $22.50

$70 for these three chargers. I’ll be able to charger 10 batteries at once and any battery size and battery chemistry.

Any reason why these are poor choices? Any suggestions?

I say go for the skyrc3000. I just discovered it today on accident while I was trying to figure out what to do with my Efest 3000mah battery problem. The review of the 3000 is very good! GB has them for $89 but I will not patronize them. I need to find it somewhere else, I'm going to go shopping in the bay...

I say try a liitokala 500 first. Then if you feel it’s not enough then go for the MC3000.

The best charger info source I know of is HKJ who does many reviews here. Do a search here by each charger name and look for his posts. (I tried to add a link to the page on HKJ’s website but something didn’t work and it showed “404”)

If you’re not technically inclined, scroll to his general observations at the end, but you’ll gain a lot of understanding by looking at the whole review.

Here ya go...

I tried to link to the charger reviews page directly but I’ll use your ‘trick’ in the future.

I won’t be getting a skyrc3000 until they’re being sold by Amazon. Too many scamming websites out there selling fake things.

LiitoKala Engineer Lii-500 is not sold on amazon

thank you for the link

the Opus BT-C3100 review sounds good

the Xtar VC2 Plus MASTER doesn’t sound so good

Since I’m getting it primarily for NiMH for now I think I’ll skip the Xtar VC2

he does not have a review of the EBL 920D, but for $8 I will risk it.

Based on your comments I ordered the Opus BT-C3100 tonight! Thank you for your help

Compared to my Nitecore..the Opus does a better job for the Nimh.

I would not touch a RC3000 at this point. It is still a beta product.
