Should I buy "Sofirn SP36 Anduril" or "Astrolux FT03 XHP50.2" ?

This will be my first flashlight. Both have pros and cons.

Efficiency @ 2000 lumens:
SP36: 172Lm/W
FT03: 152Lm/W

Turbo ANSI lumens:
SP36: 4320
FT03: 4094

Turbo throw:
SP36: 352m
FT03: 735m

Theoretical runtime @ 2000 lumens:
SP36: 7h 30min
FT03: 3h 40min

SP36 has better tint and CRI. Both have USB-C and nice UI. Throw is very important outdoors but SP36 seems overall better. Very hard decision…

I have both. If you want an every day all purpose light and don’t mind the weight, the sofirn light edges out the ft03.

If you want a light more comfortable in the hand, much longer throw, lighter, and good enough for every day with some up close limitations the ft03 is ok for that.

Honestly these are not direct competition, since this is your first light, get the sofirn. It will be more rounded for everyday use and give you a good baseline to compare stats on future lights.

Anduril.

Thank you for helping me guys! I think I will buy the SP36 Anduril tomorrow

Make sure to buy the BLF version (Anduril) the LH351D tint is very nice, way better than the XHP50, which has an ugly greenish corona

Edit, I don’t know what was going on, but i meant better than the XPL2

The SP36 Anduril is amazing!

Below is a comparison between 10$ Ebay zoomie and 36$ SP36 Anduril (same camera settings in both photos):

I’m using protected Panasonic NCR18650B button top batteries (length 69.1mm) and they fit nicely inside

Where did you find it for $36?

Aliexpress from “Sofirn Official Store”. There was a huge sale and I also used some coupons.
