Single Emitter LED - compact FF4 look alike?

Here is a Aliexpress Link for the 1226:

Looks like it is 4p, but 4 amps…

What do you think is the Kcd rating of this light? Does it pull 5A? What is its bezel diameter?

Thanks

No clue on cd rating. Stock won’t be anywhere near 5a. I was speaking modded. Someone above said the reflector was 62mm.

10x 350mA 7135s is 3.5A output.

you could stack 5 more chips. coudnt you also place a resistor over that 10uf cap to make it have no memory?

I should have had one of these to review a long time ago, but there was a little shipping mix-up. I was hoping the driver didn’t have that awful next mode memory but alas….

'Next mode memory' is a misnomer - it's actually anti-memory. It ignores completely the amount of time between switch presses, so it treats being turned off for 1/8 second exactly the same as being turned off for elebenty-nine hours. It would need a different microcontroller to get either true memory or no memory where it always starts in X mode if it's been off longer than Y seconds.

But, it would be trivially easy to use a standard 105C as a master, and the original driver's 7135s as slaves. The light has a normal latching clicky switch in the tail so the 105C wouldn't need any special code, just cut the right traces on the original driver and run jumper wires to the right spots.

If only this light is shorter and fat to take more 18650 side by side..
