Skilhunt H200 disassembly and modding.

So, bought H200 for modding. Since i dont need red light decided to make a one channel triple swap leds and driver. Here some head pics:

DC converter marking are erased…

Head is empty, it have thin shelf for mcpcb and that is bad for heat dissipation :-1:
Well, but it have good 2+1 cooper mpcb with direct thermal patch. Swapped leds to 3500K, shorted pin and now it is simple triple.

All back in place.

Beamshot comparison to Convoy S2 with 60degree TIR:

With custom buck driver full turbo available down to 3.1V and theoretical +25% eficiency. Setup works like It is boost driver.

3 Thanks

Ha, stolen from YLP Gekko.

Does the H200 use thermal paste or also just hotglue?

Head is glued but it is easy to unscrew. There is silver paste under mpcb.

Yes, Sofirn use same design too. Here is different situation because of triple TIR is low profile. But still they could have made a thicker shelf. Now it is possible to store and hide some illegal stuff in that space

Removed uselles magnet and rubber gasket under tail cap spring for better ground contact and swapped drivers aluminium gasket to thick cooper one.
