Worst features of the Zebra UI:

  1. going to Medium w 2C from Off preflashes High
  2. trying to get Low w 1H from Off can go to High by mistake
  3. trying to change High to less High w 2C from On too soon, can go to Strobe by mistake.

Those UI issues can be bypassed by using the Long Hold to cycle outputs. Then the light operates smoothly, without preflashes or mistaken output selections.

Some of the best features of the Zebra host:

  1. small size and low weight
  2. potting
  3. hard anodising

Worst features of the Skilhunt

  1. exposed button
  2. 15 g heavier, and 7 mm longer

Best features of the Skilhunt

  1. 1 clic from off uses last mode memory for LMH outputs
  2. Turbo and Strobe can not be accessed accidentally
  3. magnet, charging, battery charge level indicator switch

I will add another option to compare :
Skilhunt H04 host + Custom Driver & Led + TIR or reflector.
Pros: Everything.
Cons: You have to lift your butt off the couch to get it.
