Can anyone confirm which models of Skilhunt headlamps have potted electronics?
I have a message in to Skilhunt but haven’t heard back yet.
Thanks,

Thanks,
They aplly roughly some resin or silicon on one side of pcb , but i dont think it can be called potting or even conformal coating.
Thanks Quadrupel, I was under the impression they had a more traditional epoxy potting for impact resistance. I would think that even a thin coat of resin or silicone might afford some additional measure of drop protection. I’ll take this in to consideration.
I woud say, it is just imitation of something has done and silicon waste
Skilhunt EC200 Partial potting on one side, none on the other side of the driver:
small amount of potting on the mcpcb:
Malkoff uses hard epoxy potting
Armytek, and Zebralight use silicone conformal coating
Ive read that Olights ar potted, have not seen a photo
Thanks jon_slider, those pictures are exactly what I needed to see.
To their credit, I did get a response from Skilhunt, even if it is a bit vague.
Thank you for reaching out to Skilhunt!
Depending on the specific circuit design, electronic components partly using epoxy to safeguard.
