Slim helmet mountable light inquiry

I wear one of these fancy things…
…with these mounted using the black mounts up top, and…
… these slid through the black top part of their mounts with a pivot along the arm about 10cm/4 inches along, which is able to pivot to protect the face and be lifted to inspect.

Problem for me is, I’m as yet, unable to find a headlamp that is…

- affordable (under 3 figures in $AUD)

- fits and works with the mounting area and accessories

- is bright

- reasonable CRI

- shock/water resistant a minimum

  • easy to operate with a single hand with low, med, high, strobe, sos modes

Anyone know of anything that I’m not aware of ?
Or am I setting myself up to custom build something ?

Sounds like you want a quality host and may need to mod the output. Zebra lights seem pretty stout.

Looks like you have a lot of stuff already on your helmet.
Have you considered a light maybe strapped to your arms?
Or clipped to your clothing? I just got this in the mail and I’m
doing some testing:

Problem with a clip on like that, is they’re easily dislodged and also don’t follow the line of sight.

A quality host indeed does sound what I require, yet the pricing + modding it is what deters me.
