The “2500 lumen” one doesn’t exist unless you redesign it yourself. That many lumens simply isn’t possible from the parts they have in that light.
You will learn quickly that almost any lumen or wattage or any other rating you see on cheap lights on ebay/amazon/etc is either a flat out lie, or the maximum possible that LED can provide, not what it actually does provide in that light.
Not possible with an XM -L2, it would smoke before it got to 2k lumens. I doubt it’s doing more than the common 3A so it’s probably in the 600-700 lumens OTF range. Change the driver and you can get a lot more but not 2500 without upgrading to a 6V led and more extensive mods.
You should read up on led tech on the forum and read a couple reviews before hunting for flashlights You are starting too many threads. But it’s okai, you’re new. Ask away! Better if all those questions get asked in a single thread…
I wasn’t able to find the posts but I am 98% sure that someone has previously made that mistake in the last year. I believe they found that GB’s T08 stock turned plastic as well.
I ordered and received Small Sun from FT few days ago. When I held the reflector in my hand I was sure that it was made from plastic but then I measured the resistance with my DMM and it showed continuity.
