On Facebook, and I see an ad for a “super and powerful torch”. Decided against clicking on said ad, but the ad had the website published on it, so I went ahead and typed the address in the browser.

It’s essentially a Sipik SK68 for a dirt cheap US$49. Oddly enough, I am pretty sure there has got to be someone out there that thought this was a great deal and bought it.

I saw this ad on Facebook a few weeks ago. It was specifically trying to sell it to Australia for an even higher price - I think it was $99. I nearly fell off my chair laughing
I would hate to be someone who bought them and then found out later what they really are and how much they cost.
There have been a few people show up here having done exactly that.
I contacted them about it once, they couldn’t tell me any differences in UI/build/components etc from the SIPIK but tried to justify the extra cost by saying that they do free fast shipping to anywhere in the world, which can be expensive.
Massive rip-off.

Wow. And did you notice the “lighting test” looks like they started with a 1000 lumen light and then photoshopped it? I’d be interested to see a single Q5 light up any park like that. But I guess it must be really powerful because of the fast shipping.
