That’s exactly what I’m doing. When I hike with someone else I’m mostly using low levels. Under 50 lumens is plenty. When I’m alone it feels spooky and I overcome that by making it daylight. It’s fun.
Original TM11 from Nitecore. Got two because of the gun store sale at 150 each. Time to change emitters now. Skyray King cool and neutral, TN36 ut, 3 Meteors and a 4000k D18. Got another one coming from Vinh fitted with 219b's. Can't wait!
Wait'll you get old. I need a good 500 lumens to feel comfortable enough walking dogs. 50 lumens probably wouldn't even register.
Me too. My outdoor comfort level is 1000+ lumens. Preferably 1500 with the option of turbo to scare away the boogie man.
I’m liking my mf01s. Can blast 4-5k lm messing around long periods of time and no heat issues etc. Can turn on the sun for “what the hell was that” moments! But she does heat up quick in turbo, but i hardly ever need it. Akso love the beam, it’s like a 15k hot spot lol. Real throwy. Just enough flood and throw
