This light hooked me early with its look and I still love it after all the testing. It’s just plane good. Not to say there aren’t some things that I’d like to see changed but what it does it does amazingly well. What do you think?
Honestly, I like the beam from the TIR lens better, that the OG has.
And yeah I still use mine. Handy thrower when even the tight pencil beam from a CatMini isn’t enough, or when you just want nice looooong runtime.
The most important question is: How many hundred NM of torque does one need to unscrew the bezel?
I tried to open the predecessor, no chance without destroying it.
Can’t wait for the time when Sofirn starts to weld shut their lights so you need a lathe and a welder just to change the LED.
And why exactly is it 21$ more expensive? The SF42R isn’t really an expensive LED.
My guess for the price is: Black Friday. Every price goes up before and on BF, and collapses after.
