I ordered this flashlight today and I can’t nail down what driver it has. I found a reference in a review that said it has a FET driver but I can’t confirm it. Can anyone help me confirm what driver it has?
I also ordered the Manker MC13 II w/SFT40 today and I was wondering if anyone who has one can tell me how they like it or don’t like it. Or anything else that you might want to share about it.
The SP36 series all had linear fet drivers, so Mosfets with a 7135 regulator for low/moon.
The MC13 II is a great light and I really like mine. I dont carry it much due to the head size. With the 18350 it’s a great pocket thrower and has a regulated buck driver.
Thanks. I couldn’t find the information anywhere. I’m familiar with the driver but I have never had a light with it.
I’m really looking forward to getting the Manker. I got it for $41 and I couldn’t pass it up. It was only available in black and the other seller had different colors with the SBT90 but it was $74 and I didn’t see the need for spending $30 more for a different color and the SBT90.
Nice. I think you’ll like it. I have the sbt90.2 version also and it’s pretty fun. Output is really about 4000 Lumens and great throw with decent sustained output. 90.2+18350 is cool.
I’m trying brands that I haven’t tried yet. I have sofirn, Wuben, wurkkos, thrunite, lumintop, speras, Convoy and nitecore, basically all the BLF flashlights. Plus a urFlamp that’s made by speras and now I’m adding a Manker. Convoy is my favorite.
