SOFIRN ST10 New Edition – Progress Update 🔦

Hey everyone — here’s the latest on the ST10 Year of the Horse edition:

The prototype design is now locked in (see image). We’ve kept the “horse-on-clouds” theme and are making a few final tweaks to the details.

LED configuration updates:

  • Main emitter: upgraded to the SFT25R for improved throw and brightness.

  • Side white emitter: swapped to the Nichia 519A 4000K for warmer, more natural color rendering — ideal for close‑up tasks and everyday use.

I threw in a few beam shots at the end so you can see the throw/flood balance and the CCT in real-world conditions.

We also updated the red light UI on the ST10 new version:

  • Hold to turn it on

  • Hold again to cycle through brightness levels

  • Single-click to turn it off

  • And yes — it remembers the last mode you used

If you have any feedback or ideas, feel free to share — your input directly shapes the final product.

10 Thanks

Looks good.
A slightly warmer main emitter would be a great option!

The new emitter and UI make it more enticing, however the default grey or black colour scheme works better in a work environment. Any chance this will roll out as the new baseline model?

If it’s popular enough, I think it will.
