I am actually interested in one of these for marine navigation light. Does the off/on switch come with the light? is the switch water proof? Doesn’t look like it is in the picture. I need a green light at the end of my dock to find it in the dark. Large lake.
I would have thought these lights would be hooked up to mains? If it is just a NiMH how often does it have to be changed? There is no solar charger on it?

Nice unit, will the solar panel keep the thing charged in the dark gloomy winter months in Alaska . I probably can’t afford it anyway but it would be nice marker for my dock
