I remember the same reaction when I got my M43 several years ago. I also got it with the Nichia 219C LEDs. I don’t use it much, but I would never get rid of it and whenever I do use it, it always puts a smile on my face. An amazing amount of lumens for such a small flashlight. And just as impressive, it’s able to maintain the output for a long time due to it’s high quality design.
It really is a little beast, just a solid block. The quality of it is just fantastic. While I can’t say it will be my most used light, I can’t see myself getting rid of it either.
