I’m tempted, as I was recently considering this light to do an XHP50/70 conversion, but I realized this light doesn’t have enough heatsink area for it.
You’re right, I think we are many months off the GT production and sale. I’ve already spent most of what I had aside for a Q8 & GT. When they eventually happen, I’ll just tap in to my credit card hehe.

Basically, I got this light one year ago and have used it maybe a dozen times only.
It is in really good condition, it never fell and does not have any scratch.
You have to use 3 button-top batteries, ideally protected ones.
The onboard charging is practical, micro-USB port and red/green indicator. I didn’t check termination voltage but I’m confident, as Olight is known for their integrated charging solutions.
It’s a good high quality light for a non-flashaolic IMHO.
Never been dropped lucky light. The other day I opened a box that had a light it in. First thing it fell on the floor before I even got to use it lol.
Have received several lights from X3, all like new, even a really heavy used little Olight.
