I have an original BLF GT that was customized by Vihn (Sky Lumen). He spec’d it as outputting 6000-7000lm.

From Sky Lumen order

  • Lumintop BLF GTvn - Throw King Spec 6 CFT90 6500K
  • Lumintop BLF GTvn - Throw King Carry Bag + Strap (NOTE: I may or may not have this bag anymore, but I’ll look for it. Found it, see below)
  • “V54” Engraving
  • Total Shipped

LED has been de-domed. I think he may also have replaced the emitter, I don’t remember.
Battery holders were rewired to handle more current and a different voltage to driver.

The light is not only a greatly improved thrower over the original, but with the de-doming, it has a fair amount flood too.

Oh, pardon the dust in part of the fins which I missed when cleaning. :stuck_out_tongue:

Yes, I still have to upload some photos. Today’s been busy, shipped 3 lights and sold 2 more in person today. This is turning out to be a part time job. :stuck_out_tongue:

$179 is an amazing deal! If I had the money I’d snap this up in a Heartbeat!

I’m pretty sure Vihn replaces the the LED with a CFT-90:

Yeah, I just didn’t remember if he did or which one. But He must have, because the original LED could not output that much, otherwise it would go up in smoke. )))

How is this Beast still available for $149? NOW $139?

Look at those pictures again.
The beam goes alot further than those picture show.
Guy’s, don’t let that ring in the beamshots scare you away, this is a Searchlight, not a walking your dog light.
I just bought his W30 and if i had the funds this Beast would most definitely be in my possession.

$139 for it is a Steal, heck the batteries alone cost close to that.
Someone really needs to buy this.
