If it’s a clicky, Ti. If it’s a twisty, SS. It’s a texture thing.
Or if it’s going to be on a keychain, probably SS since it’s usually harder to scratch.

Titanium as stainless steel may get hot quickly & heavier as well!
Either would be good if there is a cooling segment made from a higher thermal conductivity material like copper to help eliminate heat. I’d definitely like a reasonably priced titanium and copper light. The lower conductivity of the ti would help insulate the cells from the heat generated by the emitter.
I would want titanium, because I already have stainless lights and not Ti, but I would still carry an aluminum one, because Ti has horrible heat conductivity and I like to carry one bright light and one plastic red button light.
I like both but prefer titanium, it has a better feel to it.
Ti or Aluminum. After carrying around an aluminum AAA light for a few years SS feels too heavy to me. Oh wait I just realized I have an SS BLF-348 in my pocket. Well now I don’t know… probably whatever is cheaper is what I’ll actually end up buying.
Titanium: It’s lighter.
My vote is Titanium. But only if it’s on sale.
