Although Stanley products used to be the gold standard, today they are considered pure garbage. They cant even make a good tape measure anymore.
The FatMaxx spotlight has been around since 2012. It looks almost the same but was changed to type C charging and usb power out some years ago. Probably a different LED. It was the first really good spotlight that I bought after seeing reviews here on BLF. I got the Black & Decker which was identical. I don’t see it on Walmart’s site as sold by Walmart. So I suspect any that are still in some stores have probably been on the shelf for a while. Maybe a few years. So yeah they want to move that inventory. If you don’t mind big and bulky it may be good for somebody. I doubt you’ll find them in many Walmarts though. It did serve me well for many years in the work truck. I think there are better ways to get that kind of throw in a smaller package today.

It has been in our area Walmarts for many years and is still on the shelves every week. I like the huge reflector and the large area illuminated, and now at a low $30 price.
