True but this one doesn’t have the lumens of a Sky Ray King. Can you imagine owning a SRK and then spending twice as much money on one of these and having it be less bright than your SRK? I would have been ticked off if I hadn’t bought it with modding already in mind.

I guess you’re right though a true noob would still be pretty impressed and think they had the best thing ever.

I’m wondering if they got their plans mixed up, and put the bad driver in the ‘throwy multi-emitter’ and put a good driver in some cheap 3T6 style old light somewhere…

Someone told me when I posted the picture that it was the same exact driver as the first 3T6 that they put out. It says 4.8a on the top of the driver. I put it in a Small Sun ZY-T08 last night to drive a single de-domed XM-L2 with the battery carrier modded to series so 8volts roughly and it worked nice to drive one emitter and could actually be pushed harder. Probably 4.5 amps to that one emitter, makes for a nice thrower. I have another one that is running 7amps and that is really pushing it hard.

Got the parts for the J-19-3xMT-G2 so it should be done this time tomorrow.
