Streamlight stylus

Hello I’m new here, years ago I bought a streamlight stylus through my employer. I’ve since retired and was recently looking through a box of items from my days in the workforce. I came across the streamlight it still had batteries with a date of 2013 on them and the light still worked but very dim ,due to the old batteries. I’m just curious to see if anyone can help me identify which model this is ?? I see no identification other than Streamlight on the pocket clip. I’l include a picture of it. It’s Red, White & Blue. red & white (silver) stripes blue background with stars around the top. If anyone has any information on this I’d appreciate it, if not that’s also okay as I’m just being curious. Thank you

I’m hardly an expert on these but I do have two bought many years ago like you. I use one of them a lot in my carry bag since the light is low and often useful for a bit of illumination when all you need is a bit eg., menus in a restaurant. As far as I know there is no ‘model’ type although the did and maybe still do have individual serial numbers. They all use AAAA batteries which mostly being alkaline, I am surprised that they have not leaked in yours by now and ruined your light. You can get rechargeable AAAA from Amazon and also probably AliExpress which I now use.

Thank you, yes I was surprised the batteries hadn’t leaked ? One thing an old timer told me years ago was when your flashlight is not being used regularly turn the batteries backwards and they usually will not leak ! So I do this with all my flashlights no matter what size batteries they use. So far anytime I’ve needed one of them, I just flip the batteries back over and it’s ready for use no dead or leaking batteries. I can’t guarantee this will always work but has for me so far ? Again Thank you so for your reply to my post. Happy
